Dear God is a self-portrait that points to a human altar that is within all of us. Spiritually, it is here personal sacrifices are made, reconciliation occurs and the totality of our being becomes clear. I believe it is not up to a higher power to grant us this humility; the self-reflection needed for change. Being humble is the work of individuals.
The piece analyzes the dichotomy of humanistic qualities: mainly what we aspire to be and what we are.
